imported_ShadowRG I hit the wrong button I was suppose to vote for clay 1/8 but voted carpet 1/8. I like clay indoor.

imported_stewart Rent in the States is dirt cheap compared to southern ontario, i would imagine to rent a facility that size would be at least $4000 a month.
I too would love to race on real dirt again,I even drove 4 hours to Ottawa for a real 1/10 dirt race.
If you build it i will come. But please check out everything .

Let me fix that quote for ya Gump: "if you build it, they will come, but you will lose money on it." Unless you've got a free building, and by that I mean it doesn't cost you anything to occupy it, then you might have a chance at breaking even. Between insurance and heating alone, that's enough to put you in the red over the winter. I don't want to sound negative about, it would be great having an indoor dirt track in the GTA, however, the costs are astronomical being that it's in the GTA. I really hope it works out for you!

Chet Well you have 755 views about this and you have the equipment, hope to see it happen then.

B&D is great for 2WD buggy but the other two not so much so. They're small yes but the jumps and layout not geared for a 2WD buggy. I had more of a classic 1/10 clay track in mind when I wrote that message. I was dreaming happy thoughts!

Guest well, I do have the equipment and suppliers to build a dirt track...:IDEA:, and I do like 1/8.......

Stalker Rui,

I voted 1/10th clay because of the points stated above, rent will be cheaper, maintenance will be easier and there will be a whole lot more chance of it actually happening... I would LOVE to race my B4 on dirt again... Seriously you can get a 1/10th car up and running for the price of an ESC/Motor for a 1/8th... batteries are less $$... it's better all around for indoor I think... having said that... I'd also LOVE to race 1/8th indoor and if there was a place around that I could do it (dirt) I would get one up and running...

1/10 may be hurtin in this area right now, but as the CHEO race in Ottawa proved, it's definitely not KO'd.......1/10 2WD buggy being the most popular class at that race.
