Re: Krill 35% Extra 330 / GP123 on ES Pipes Hey Sam! I doubt you got my PM with your mailbox exceeded. You should have those headers by Thursday April 9th!! I'll go back in this thread and see what I did... I think I opened up the skin so the ball -link and horn actually go below the surface. |

Trev how cool are you man seriously?!!! I will for sure hit you up next time I come down there. Regarding the soldering I totally appreciate the offer, I was thinking about maybe trying to do the soldering because it's very interesting first of all and a great skill to know, however I really don't want to learn on something so precious so maybe I can send em to you just don't want to be pain in the ace! So first things first, exactly which headers do I need to order? KS or MTW? I'm going with the composite pipes, because they will conduct less heat. |

Re: Krill 35% Extra 330 / GP123 on ES Pipes Sam.. Depending where your Uncle is in Ontario, shoot me a PM prior to getting here and we can try to do coffee if he is in the Toronto area. Your wife likely won't even notice the 40% Compy Suhk, LOL. Really small planes If you have ever done any copper water pipe soldering, using MAP Gas and Silver Solder is no different. Flux it up well, heat until glowing red and whick in the Silver Solder. If you are nervous, send me a PM and I'd be more than happy to do the soldering for you and ship them back down!!! There are other pipe options which actually like stock header length (no soldering) like the ProRc Hype Pipes or Planebender Smoothpipes but it will be a tighter fit between wingtube and LG (because they are bigger diameter). Cheers Trev |
