Re: Spektrum DX6 Big daddy, is this a DX6 that normally came with a park flyer, or is it an actual DX6i model? unfortunately there is no DO IT ALL factory reset that will put the whole radio back to default and erase everything that was done by the prior owner. You must do the reset one at a time for each model. don't try to read the whole book, just find the page that shows you how to select the model number and the model type (AC, HEL). than the reset menu, you will have to reset for each model from 1 to 10 for AC and HEL. once done, each model will be as if you just got it from the store. DX6 (par flyer or older style screen) check page 30, 36, 31. if it is a DX6i, check pages 102 to 104, it doesn't get any simpler. Dan. |

Unfortunately being a newbe with these new style transmitters I am used to the ones 40 years ago it did not explain to me at least, how I would go about doing it. The reason I want to do a FACTORY RESET is that I bought this DX6 used so I now would like to remove all the settings that the previous owner had set in it and start with it like it was when it was new. I also want to set it up so that I can use the Phoenix Simulator program I purchased. I will keep reading these forums and hopefully find a write up on this. If any one else has any information I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again for all the help I get here. |
