It's standard that we don't put tension on the wires from any gyro, a tight wire will transmit vibrations to the gyro (normal or 3-axis), this obviously causes strange behavior, little twitches of the tail but now also of the aileron and elevator with the 3G.

Also, the 3G sensors (unless you've done the silicone mod) are pretty sensitive and any uneven pressure can affect them.

Don't get me wrong, I like it neat and tidy but wouldn't personally try to jam both the receiver and main 3G unit into that space
So far it flies great, I've increased the hover headspeed and reduced my Expo on Aileron and Elevator a bit. I was also able to increase the gain on the 3G, they are set to about 1 o'clock.

I've just started doing flips in all 4 directions, and FFF is also stable. Now with the 3G sensor, I used 2 pieces of the Align double sided tape, with their metal plate sandwiched in there.

Perhaps I'm just lucky that this worked out with no negative behaviour.

Ah- that makes sense. Thanks!

Nice you can barely see a wire on it. I like to trace the wires neatly down the sides but still leave them visible. I think it adds something to it when you can see them.

Nice and clean, but does it fly? Good job. I tend to make things easy to reach in case of repair, and repairs do happen.

Nice job! I just got a 450 3D and had some decisions to make about the battery connection. That decision was made easier by the fact that the positive lead was fastened with a wicked kink. the adapter I made allowed me to hava nice smooth arc to it. Still ended up only having to use one zip tie.

This is my first go at the heli thing, with a new heli anyway. Planes seem a way lot easier!

Looks clean but... just as a word of caution, the 3G units can be quite picky in terms of tension on the wires, especially the one to the 3-axis gyro.
