Re: Flying Low and Dirty!!!!

I agree 100%. Aero-works makes awesome planes. I was very impressed with the quality of the build. This was my first AW plane. I think it is time they start including CF tubes like most ARF builders have been doing for quite some time now. I would still buy another, but I would replace the tube for 3D flying. No intensions of turning this thread into a "lets slam AW" thread. Lol

Ken, not to worry. I'm sure I will have another Aeroworks 35% Extra 300. I was out to our field Sunday. My flying buddy has one. I made my mind up then, and there. Complicating factors, yesterday I traded for a 96" Extra 260 (Aeroworks). Then last night/ early this morning, polished off the details on a J-Yak 55 (Aeroworks).

At the event in Drayton, I was eyeing up the same Edge as yours. All great flying airframes.

Well we move-on

Sorry for your loss. That was relatively new wasn't it? You can accept it when it's a dumb thumb error, but when it's an equipment defect, it really smarts.

Kind of makes you wonder whether you can trust anything that comes with a new ARF these days.

Dennis
Thx Dennis!
I just got use to flying it. They day I took the fun pictures in this thread, really was the best flight of my life. I was getting use to it enough to get it down lower then any other giant scale plane I have flown! May not have been as impressively low as the picture at the beginning of the thread but I was proud of myself for reaching the milestone. I had planned on showing all at Kingston my new confidence when BAM!!
