Re: flying woes

Great flying weather in SW Ont now. Too windy though today to go flying or sailing. Maybe tomorrow. July was the month to catch up on missed flights owing to the lousy spring.

Logged 27 NM on my sailboat today, PEI and back......weather was to nice to go flying.

Sailing is like flying.....kind of.....maybe

I hear you guys on the weather. The spring was awful, but July has been awesome. Heat, humidity and light winds combine for excellent umx flying conditions every night for the last couple of weeks. Enjoy it while we can.

Hell, I'm retired (on paper, at least) but my "job" is taking care of a whole bunch of other things/people and stuff. It never ends. The only other "job" I can foresee is one that has no future (but is in all our futures!) is laying on my back and pushing daisies up, for other people to smell and enjoy.

Re: flying woes

I've actually been out quite a bit this year and it's gotten to the point that sometimes I don't feel like going even if the opportunity is there. Too much of a good thing I guess

Seriously though, I am like most of you guys in the sense that flying comes last...after family, work and home. I barely flew at all last season and trying to make up for it this season I guess.
