Thanks Dan, perhaps I will do just that. I have ordered a complete set of stock assembled wheels and tires PLUS a new wing assy. Currently it is on back order so as soon as it comes in I'll come out to the speedworld and hope to see you there.

Any particular night(s) that folks gather there just to try out their vehicles (not racing) Or perhaps on a weekend, Saturday or Sunday? What do you think would be best and what time(s).

What type of vehicles do the guys run there mostly? Any indoor rock crawling? Just wondering as I also have an Axial AX10 crawler and a Traxxas Slash 4X4 with the brushless power system.

Thank you very much for the reply and input to my quarry! Much appreciated!

Re: Help with Traxxas Bandit.

Re: Help with Traxxas Bandit.

Thanks my friend. That's what is puzzling. My rear shock tower has NO holes where shown on the exploded view as you mention to insert the ends of the wing brace/wire.

It must have come with the wing mounted somehow but unless I am to drill a couple of holes, they are not there so I don't know how it came mounted from the factory origionally!

there should be 2 small hole's in the top of the shock tower they push into on both side's of the body mount pin ,that's were each of them push into

Help with Traxxas Bandit.

I just received a Traxxas Bandit that I purchased from a nice fellow here on RCC.

It seems to be a nice vehicle but I am doing a couple of upgrades to it. Out with the brushed motor/esc and install a Velineon brushless ESC & motor. As well, getting a new set of wheels for it.

It came almost complete but the wing was off and I have been having a problem trying to figure out how to install it as did the previous owner. The wing is assembled in itself and has a wire looped between the actual wing and the body section that attatches to the back body post.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how that wire is suppose to attatch to the chassis. I have an exploded view of the whole vehicle and it sort of looks like it goes into the top of the shock tower but there are no holes for it in the shock tower to go into. And I cannot see anywhere else that looks like it is an attatchment point for this wire.

Can anyone help me that knows how this thing attatches. I would be very greatful for any help that you could offer.

Thanks in advance and appreciate your consideration. Gary M.
