I just sent a 'free' tx strap to a fellow in Ontario in an oversized brown envelope for $1.80. I just asked him to toss a toonie in the Tim Hortons 'camp' fund next time he's getting a coffee.

True, not the only place I have seen it. Gotta make an order big enough to be worthwhile.

Thunderbolt RC is a much more friendly site to order from.

Every time I look at the Great Hobbies web site almost everything I am interested in is OUT OF STOCK.

Hey! I just received an E mail from Mike at GH explaining that the Ontario location is the only place they ship from now. If it was stated as such on the website I missed it.

And yes there was 3 items that I wanted for the weekend and didn't get till Monday but... this is just a hobby and no lives were riding on it! I just checked the calendar and... there is another weekend coming up! All is good.

Have a nice day guys!

Face it Merv, they don't give a hoot about us out West. I haven't bought anything from them since the quit the COD payment. Their excuse--- we weren't getting paid! I can't imagine how that happens.

You just got lucky that the stuff in stock in YEG was also in stock On-Line. Had it not been in YYZ the order system would have balked.

Kevin, if you were to go back and read my posts you would see that I went out of my way to pick only items that were in stock in the Edmonton store. At no time during ordering or in the email they sent me confirming the order was it ever stated that the order was being sent from Ontario! In fact the way I found out is when I put a trace on the Canada Post shipping number. So... yes they did hide it!
