Re: lipo shipping option in HK Every pickup I made in the past at the warehouse included lecturing them on using UPS as a shipper and then calling the USA warehouse a Canadian source. I told them over and over again it does not work. One person seems to have moved on(did not wish to listen) and now they have Purolator. Good for them. They listened to a few. |

Re: lipo shipping option in HK they do not want to combine lipo with other items at all now. So place your orders separately. You can order the lipos from HK Asian or USA warehouse using designated lipo shipping option. and really, I think it is unwise to order any lipo from their Asian warehouse. HK service using Purolator from the USA warehouse is so cheap, fast and easy it is a no-brainer. We never had it so good as this method. My hats off to HK for solving this lipo shipping issue. here is an example of my last HK USA Warehouse lipo order. 12 batteries total. There were no extra fees applied. Order arrived in 3 days from the day I ordered them: Quote:

Re: lipo shipping option in HK Interesting event today. I was looking to make an order with HobbyKing, the items were not in the US so they would have been coming from their HK warehouse. In the order were a number of parts and a couple of LiPo batteries, when I went to checkout I received notification that order could not be shipped to Canada, the reason was not given. When i deleted the LiPo batteries the order would go through. So it seems that the importing of LiPo batteries to Canada is no longer allowed. Comments please |

Re: lipo shipping option in HK OK!! Now I can say HK got it right this time. Its been 16 days since I posted that I received all the lipo I ordered and delivered by Fedex. I would assume that I would not be hearing from Fedex regarding any "additional handling fee". So, I can safely say that I got a good deal and will be ordering some more lipos as soon as I need one. I would say the shipping cost was fair and the delivery time fast. |

Re: lipo shipping option in HK @4*60, I would assume you did not pay a penny after they dropped it off a few days later. I would say your's turned out well. I am still waiting for the other shoe to drop in this transaction as last time it did take a few days/week, after then I got the "extra handling fee". I would probably wait for another week, if nothing happens as I said in my last post..then I can say HK got it right this time for their lipo order and shipping. |

Re: lipo shipping option in HK As stated above here is what I get from HK China Postage & Payment type Shipping Options CANADA 50x20x160mm 280g Fedex Priority $25.41 International (Registered) Air Mail 201 - 300g Lipo $7.49 AND I too have used Purolator for the Washington warehouse and no fees. If there were fees I would probably have refused because the guy dropped the box on the concrete at the door, rang the doorbell and ran.

Re: lipo shipping option in HK UPDATE!!!WOW! This is the first time I've received a package/order in record time. 3 days! based on the time/date it was shipped in Hongkong. Too good to be true so I am waiting for the other shoe to drop(additional handling fee/customs fee from fedex). To be continued in a few days or weeks...crossing my fingers. Hoping for the best, expecting the worst. |

Re: lipo shipping option in HK @tomahawk....hmmmm? I have never declared things in that price. I do put in my declared amount something like 30% of total. It works, most of the time I do not get any bills from customs. We will look into that next order. Thanks for the input..err magic number. |
