Re: New Sig Rascal 110

No problem Rellic! I was a little concerned after I posted that I may have stepped on some toes out there, glad you took it as intended!

Not my style of flying but you have to admire the guy's skill!

As we all know the Sig Rascal comes in many versions and sizes. Here is a short clip of the Red 110 "Heli" version

Thanks for the chuckle Old Prarie Red Neck.

Re: New Sig Rascal 110

For sure Nick, next time out with it I will have the new six inch Tundra type wheels on it.
Let me know when you will be out our way.
If you can make it on Saturday July 28 Vernon Club will be hosting our second "Flying For Hunger / Christmas in July Event" a choreographed MC'd four hour Air Show for Charity, Might be something you will want to attend due to the list of invited high end flyer's we will be having for the event.

Re: New Sig Rascal 110

Finally got to Maiden her today, What a BEAUTY! Slow and lazy as expected hands off first flight no trim input required throughout the throttle range. With the Saito 180 takeoff was short and smooth at just below half throttle, no fall off with aileron only turns and unlimited vertical. Did a couple of landing approaches and was very obvious on the first pass I could just let her settle in with throttle management only. Haven't used the flaps yet and am looking fore ward to that aspect.
Will be ordering the float set next week for sure.

Re: New Sig Rascal 110

Looks great. Sig has a set of floats made for the rascal. They are huge about 60 inches long and all hardware is included. If lester can get the plane the floats should be available also.
