I also went with the Fut 7008 Rx that has the SBUS and SBUS2 ports and got the battery voltage telemetry for the 18MZ. I'll then be ready when the GPS telemetry module is available in a couple weeks so I can have real time speed and altitude info on my TX!

With the plane expected to ship next week, I thought I'd better get going on the servo selection. I've been doing a ton of research on servo selection and it seems like 150-200oz-in is about all that's needed for the 9 servos (2 elev, 2 rudd, 2 ail, 2 flap, 1 nosewheel)

Just wondering peoples thougths on this??? I'm used to getting the 500+ oz-in servos for the Giant Scale stuff but it does seem overkill on a jet where throws are soo small and one can work mechanical advantage into the mix!!.

I've had great luck wth Savox and Futaba on the GS planes. I'll likely go brushless and SBUS to keep it really smooth, clean and simple.
