hello all I did some experiment with different weight and it looks like I need to add an additional 525 grams to the nose in addition to the 662grams 6s 5000mAh to balance out the cg with the screwdriver through the head bolts test

bartman can you please post the new pictures I will send them to you soon thank you

Re: help please with centre of gravity cg with 600 heli

Ok life stepped aside and I got some pics taken. It appears I have been using 5s 33oomah and mine all hang a little tail heavy. I did put a 6s 5000mAh in each on and the balanced fine. My 6s weighs 760gms nearly 100 more than yours. I weighed it with a postal scale I use when I ship items. The first heli I bought basicallt like it is ,have changed the head and skids. I have flown it quite a few times, sortof my beatter Heli. The next one is a Trex 600 V@ I believe with a 600 pro canaopy.Has been flown once by Gizmodude. The last one is a TRex /HK 600(some of each) New unflown The setups are all nearly the same. I will bring other battery up to weigh it and see how close it is to your battery. One other though about your battery laying down as it is that a landing a little hard could cause the lower plate to snap off

Re: help please with centre of gravity cg with 600 heli

Ok getting back to issue at hand I have two HK600 gt's Also anew Align 600TT version will picture and check out battery weights. I have only flown the one (bought from Bensidius) After changing some of his settings (head linkage) it flies really nice.Oh I have Fibreglass Canopy not the plastic one and a TT raptor 90 landing skid which may add a little weight and gives it a large footto stand on

I feel that I could get away with 2 batteries strap side by side vertical against the mount

my battery weighs 662 grams
I wasn't able to take pics tonight will have to do it tomorrow . Will also weigh the batt . I have
