Great tips about the ground wire and hooking it up to the ESC, nice setup.

Re: Pololu 5v and naze32?

Just run the IRC directly off the distribution board, it will handle 4s input. Do not run it off the 5v step down regulator. All you need to do with the 5v's is run one wire from the regulator. Take a center wire(red) from a spare connector, solder it to the 5v out and slide the other end into one of the esc's center slots. This gives you less wiring and a clean setup. The 5v regulator is already grounded so you don't need the extra ground wire, The naze is grounded through the esc connections, which are grounded to the PDB.

The IRC has a clean 5v out on the vtx that can power the camera directly. Don't power the camera from the PDB board.

The one pic shows the one red wire, coming from the pololu 5v out, slipped into esc #1 connector. The IRC power cable soldered directly to the PDB.
The other pic shows the 5v out for the camera. Just three wires directly to the vtx.

Re: Pololu 5v and naze32?

Thank you so much. So the red and black wire for the camera, I can just solder them to pdb where I have my jst connector for the immersionrc?

I think you should be good to run two black wires and two red wires out of the power out on the pololu and run one set of wires to the camera and the other to the FC.

Re: Pololu 5v and naze32?

Okay sounds good. I am running a 4s battery so I'll be safe to run the fpv without the step-down. I did notice if I punch the throttle and give really fast turns the video does static pretty bad so most likely I will add the lc filter. How would I wire the pololu to fpv?

Re: Pololu 5v and naze32?

You should be able to leave it hooked up directly to your PDB as long as your battery is within the 5v-20v range but you could also hook it up to your 5v if you wanted. Whatever is easiest for you to wire up. Having said that, you might want to try it on the 5v and see if the video is any cleaner, it could smooth out the power a bit.

I wouldn't worry about the filter right now but if you find your video isn't clean you could try dropping one in later to smooth it out.

Re: Pololu 5v and naze32?

One more question if you don't mind. I am also running the immersionrc 5.8ghz 600mw hooked up to lumenier cm650 which runs 5v to 20v. It gets power from the pdb using a jst connector. Do I need to hook up the pololu to this also or is it okay without it? Also should I run a lc filter?
Thanks
