Re: HK USA Warehouse

And despite the negative reviews for Hobbypartz and Nitroplanes I've never had a problem. Then again I know I'm not buying paying for a Chevette and expecting a Ferrari like a lot of complainers.

Good prices, descent quality, and they ship to Canada. But they only use USPS for Canadian shipping which takes as long as getting something from China.
I agree, And their lipos are decent quality too
I've put 5 orders in to HK in the last month and 1 to HPZ's a few weeks ago and the lipos from Hobby Partz showed up on friday.

Fed-ex is terrible too. I tried an online quote to ship a plane from Los Angeles to Calgary.
Box was 60" x 12 " x 18" . the quote to get it here in 4 days was $1400. I thought at first the decimal wa in another place and thought $140 was way to expensive. Then I saw the actual price.
It cost less than that to get my Alfa from Wisconsin to Calgary LOL

Re: HK USA Warehouse

We can all thank Homeland Security and the US paranoia factor for having more and more trouble buying things from our neighbour- NAFTA apparently only applies to business.

Many companies will no longer sell to Canada because of all the newest rules and checks on anything coming to Canada that might be used by all us 'terrorists'. Like riflescopes, optics, knives (Thank You, Mr. Swarzenegger!), even Tower Hobbies won't send most (or any, some specify and others don't) glues across the border! Freeze-dried foods or rations? Nope. (including backpacker's rations) It's getting worse and worse... I'll stop now to prevent the oncoming rant...

Re: HK USA Warehouse

I know of someone that tried to order from them, but they were told that the US Warehouse would not ship to Canada. Why would you want them too. They will cost WAY more in shipping, and instead of waiting 10 days for it to arrive from half way around the world, it will most likely take weeks! becouse there allll the way over there....you know a two hr drive.

Re: HK USA Warehouse

Probably costs more to ship from USA to Canada than from China to Canada!

Re: HK USA Warehouse

My orders have only shipped out of Hong Kong. I know, there seems to be this ginormous impenetrable barrier along the 48th for some companies. Sheesh, a couple of check marks and R/C Hobby parts declaration takes all of what, twenty seconds? Not just Hobby King but others outright refuse to ship to Canada, even if you paid, ie Southeast Engines for one.
