Re: Is the Habu 32 worth it? I have a Habu 32, and it flies beautifully. I am running a Shubler fan with Neu motor on 8s, and it's ridiculous. Truth is, they fly very well with a more stock eflite setup and fixed gear. Faster than my Habu2, but manageable. The lighter setup helps at slow speeds. The kit quality is very very good as well. Overall, worth the money. |

Re: Is the Habu 32 worth it? If you are ready for the performance - and the price jump, I would say absolutely. Lots of guys running small P20 turbines in these at over 150mph without issue. |

With the advent of the Taft series foam planes, the Habu32 looks like it is overpriced. It is like apples and oranges. They are different animals completely. To finish off a Habu32 you will be dropping $1000+ if you decide to go with top quality equipment. For that money you will get a faster, better handling composite EDF jet. The only weak link in the Habu 32 is the landing gear if you are running off of grass. You will want to update to Tams landing gear. There are threads in other forums that will help you through decisions and building a Habu32. |

Is the Habu 32 worth it? Just wanted people's opinions who have experience with the Habu 32 and the foam Habu. I fly the original grey foam Habu and love how it flies. It's stable, quick, glides so well, and is very fun to fly. From what I have read, most people say the Habu 32 flies like the foam one, just faster. I know a lot of guys are looking for a speed demon and the 32 gives them this capability with upgrades. I have always liked the look of the Habu 32, but the cost to get one in the air is quite a bit more. I know the 32 is better in many ways than the foam one, but is it leaps and bounds better to justify the increased investment involved? If I'm not looking to create a speed demon, is it worth jumping into the 32 when I still love my foam Habu? |
