Hey Jim W, Yeah man a Mac rocks...but they do get periodic updates....over the last two years have noticed that they are ramping up on thier OS changes ( not nearly as often as Microsoft has ) will have to see what the smoke and mirrors are like with the new Microsoft Windows 8 system ( I have yet to test it )...Yeah man Hobby King like Microsoft will probably be around till the end..... LOL |

Re: Did Hobby King go out of business? We ran into connectivity issues at our house yesterday - intardweb was really slow and it was hit and miss whether a particular website would load. HK was one of the ones that didn't, for us anyways. I think there was a major discombobulation of the synapses that hold the web together. Having said that, the powers that be did a good job in fixing the problem because today the web is lightning fast here. |

Re: Did Hobby King go out of business? Sorry false alarm Microsoft and thier wanting to force us to use thier products blocked me from access through yahoos toolbar. My next system will be a Mac at least from what I understand they don't force you to upgrade to a new operating system every three years. I could be wrong about that too. |
