Traxxas Big Bore Shock getting stuck at the top of its stroke.

Hello all I'm having a slight problem with one of my front Traxxas Big Bore shocks. My front left shock keeps getting stuck close to the top of its stroke. At first I thought it was a bent shaft but after taking it apart and inspecting the shaft it is completely straight. And now I'm at a loss as to why the shock is getting stuck like it is. Anybody out there know of why it would be doing this. And any possible way of fixing it?
