MRT PTX transponder also work where AMB systems are in place. They're cheaper and customizable as well, with user replacable leads.

johnnyboy Yeah I thought maybe I loaned it out and never got it back. But I knew it was on my bench for the longest time...little bugger cost me $100...lol. I'll take it out of his college fund. HA

The new ones are nicer for sure, but I have my current numbers memorized.

Laughing at your story John. Same thing happened to me albeit the outcome wasn't quite as expensive. I lost my temp gun and searched all over for it before breaking down and buying a new one.

Sure enough, my old one then turned up, safely buried away in the bottom of an old ammo box that I use for lipos.

The moral of the story is be careful what you wish for when you tell your kids to put stuff away!!!

Guest I have both styles. They work the same. Just updated.

The benefit of the new one is that the mount attaches to the kit, and the transponder itself can be very easily removed. That way, you only have to own one transponder, not one per kit.

johnnyboy I have one of the new ones for sale. Used once. Thought I lost my old one, but found out my son hid it in the couch...lol $90 shipped.
