bobf24 I did something similar, I had bought a good used roller and then like 2 months later another roller with basically a 2nd car in parts + all the M2C stuff came up for less than I paid for the original roller, so I picked that up and made a 3rd roller out of the used spare parts and sold it to offset most of the cost of the 2nd package, so now I have a good buggy, plus a 2nd buggy in good used parts,

I am running a similar set up to you guys so far at the Barn Yard, I've got the V3 Tekno kit with castle 80 amp 1800kv motor and MMP speedo and 4000mah 40C 3S batteries, 5/7/2, 40wt front and rear shocks, no rear sway bar, 2.5 degree rear toe, and I have the rear hubs all the way forward, everything else is the same as one of Travis's first set ups (not sure if he has posted a newer one or not?) I was also running crime fighter's and I also ran calibers with good success, I think Ryan has been running switches?

you team guys need to come and get your cars dirty if you still have E-buggies left,

JordanAK I picked up a 2nd MBX6 used car pretty cheap last year, I like going to a race with a "back-up"
I run a pretty stock set-up in my Mugen 5-7-2 front to rear and usually lighter shock oils like 35-25 er around there.
I have cracked a couple front cf shock towers but they never broken off.
Cracked a chassis in half but I still run it after I made a brace and it is 2 years old.
Im not sure if someone has them for sale but I made thin steel rear chassis wear plates and they help alot unlike the plastic ones that get baffed quick !
The aluminum axles are cool and I have had good luck with wear but they do wear quicker then you can switch to another unworn hole which is good.
I find I wear the center spur quicker than John but he uses a BCE chassis and says it helps gear mesh [less chassis flex ?] then again I use a Losi clutch because I feel the stock spur gear and clutch bell material is too soft. The stock aluminum clutch shoes kill the clutch bell way too quick in opinion.
Like John said, anyone that runs a Mugen is welcome to come on over to our tent and hang out and share ideas to make these cars go FAST !
I used to race a Kyosho then Losi but I have no plans on running anything else for some time ! The Mugen is like a really fast Cadilac with beauty suspension !

imported_Thrash Whats wrong with you people?

Your goig to end up making me upgrade my mbx5t to a 6t while I'm "patiently" waiting for the Eco just so I can get my hands on something new in the mean time

bobf24 a little extra strain on my motor isn't a big deal to me, I'd rather not have to check for pin wear personally, I dont usually have time to work on my cars other than maybe the night before a race and then whatever I get done at the track, which is usually nothing lol, I'll see how the set of alumn parts I have hold up but if they become a high wear item they will have to go,

which was one of the big reasons I went with the mugen, I just wanted somethng that I could drop on the track still dirty from the last race and it would work every time, and I can put back in the bag still dirty,

You might not (i didn't), but your motor will, the 10g the center aluminum CVD couplers save on the drive line is equivalent to taking off 40g of chassis weight .
