I heard a LOT of positive feedback (like your's Tommy!) and I'm very glad that everyone had such a great time! Next year's race will be even bigger and better! Planning will start early in the new year

There was some really close races that came down to the last few corners. It was a very busy day. Big shout out to all our sponsers and the people who walked away with the awesome prizes. Congrats to all the trophy winners. You all worked very hard to earn those trophies. I would like to thank Dave for running a few of the races so I could race. I would like to thank the people who came out braving the mosquito swarms. To prepare the track you all got to race on. I would like to thank everyone who helped out sweep and water the track. Not only at the start of the races but in between the breaks. I would like to thank Kevin for cooking up the burgers and hot dogs. I would like to thank every racer for being as quick as they were to get out there and marshal and quick to the driver stand to race. Thank you all for coming out to the 1st Annual Caster Racing Team N.E.R.D. Cup! Next year will be bigger and better. Hope to see you all out next year. The sound issue will be fixed for all of next season. Being a non profit club we have limited funds to have fancy things. LOL Check the attachments below for the results. |

Cup - Trophy Race - Offical Post had lots of fun guys.. just a few tips.. 1) better speakers on the drivers stand and down below in the pit area so the drivers and pit men can hear.. 2) when announcing and you calling out positions let drivers know how many laps they are on as the guy being lapped although he's in 2nd if first place is coming he will know to let him by. ( of course this wont work without proper speakers ) this is for Nitro only.. 3) a cheap monitor with an extension down to below the drivers stand for the pit men to see and monitor the race would be great also.. ( not a necessity if you have problem 1 sorted, but a huge help ) see you at the next 1... |
