That does look good. I thought the screen would do the trick, making it look like there are windows in there that match the tinting of the front. Enjoy flying that one.

Well this is the end of this build with the mounting of 6 more magnets (20x10x1mm) to the nose portion & as Don suggested black screen for the door windows. I went with a 5000mAh battery rather than adding weights to the front to get the COG in the right spot. Sorry for the poor pictures, but yellow is not a friendly color for a camera. The last 2 pictures were taken last weekend before I finished because it was very warm & well I was a little impatient.

Till next time, Happy Flying

Pete

Mounted the tail servo on the boom with an aftermarket servo mount. Unsure where I got the link rod, but it was the perfect length that was required. For the vertical stabilizer I drilled out a frame spreader from a 450, filed down the aluminum mount & bought some M2.5 x 30mm screws for mounting it all. On the rudder lever I filed down the collar to have the ball closer to the tail case.

Re: T-Rex 500 / Hughes MD500 / Scale Build

Still waiting on some parts before I can make much more progress. I did put some cheap blades onto the body & took it for a test hover, all was good. Did put some signage & art work on the canopy to personalize it. Also striped the blades & balanced them. Back to dialup, what a pain in the ………
