Looks good Michael! Best to fix that now.

Well, as can be seen somewhat in the last post, the wings sat higher than the edge of the fuse. I told myself I could live with it, and next year maybe try to get the wings lower, but in the end decided I best fix it now. Built up the edge with stringers and sheeted. Now on to filling and glassing. Yet more weight for the old girl to heave about.

Less grey for ya though, Brad!

Yup, sorry Brad, like most of us she gets a little heavier and a little greyer every day. Test fitting today for the new former. Looks like I’ve added enough weight in the tail that the turbine will be going back in at the original location.

Hello, Dave. I was trying very hard to give information but not to give any solid recommendations or reviews or criticisms, being an Avro Arrow nut. Reading through all the Arrow threads here this week and had to reply to your query.

Time and space permitting, I'm going to be working on a 1/22nd partial build that I acquired from John Dutkoski or creating a copy of John's 1/16th pusher or going off on a different tangent and tackling a JetWorks TSR-2 pusher design.

John Dutkowski had been making foam arrow kits, around 1/16. Not sure if he still has any, but he’s active on these forums. Good quality kits, but expect to put in some work.

Tail of the Arrow back from Brad and temporally reinstalled as I continue to prime and sand the fuselage.

There are some kitbashers making balsa models, and some scratchbuilders. Best sources are the "for sale" classifieds here and RC Groups and RC Universe.

Can't speak of quality, scale or completeness.

This is great stuff. Wishing you success in getting it finished this year. Looking forward to seeing your updates and hopefully seeing it in the air in 2024.
