Stick something else in there for a backyard idle test and see what happens.
I had a couple of servos that would wander off center in the cold. Turned out to be the plastic bushing that sits under the output gear and on top of the potentiometer. It would shrink enough in the colder temperatures to move causing the servo to continuously go off center.
Changing a servo is cheaper than a plane.

Try plugging in a 4 cell receiver battery fresh off the charger and you should be ok.
By the time you played around with everything and unplugged and replugged stuff the battery voltage probably came down slightly and settled. No more jitter.
I have a nice Hi torque /Hi speed Airtronics servo that won't work with a 5 cell receiver pack. Its a really nice servo, but it is older. Only works with a 4 cell receiver pack.

i read and reread my manual and i thing i am not doing the "failsafe" binding correct...this is differant from binding to the Transmiter??? i have to put bind plug in the battery port turn on electronics Hold bind butrton on back of TX while turning it on with all sticks in safe positions...IE throttle down after it initilizes(binds) unplug the bind plug with out turning anything off....

is this correct ??? will this stop the servo from going to full throttle postion when turning on my plane?? and repalcing to throttle servo should stop it from serging while running?

Along with the issue I had above I also had a brand new servo that would just stop working, randomly. Thank god it was in a RC car and not a plane.
It was my steering servo. It was brand new, Hi end, digital, metal gear, the whole works.
The first time it stopped working was in a race going into the turn at the end of the straight away. You can guess what happened

At least it wasn't the elevator on a bigger plane at the bottom of a loop.
