+1 on that.

If price difference is not that outrageous I usually buy stuffs local. You see a "face" of whom your dealing with and that "helps" when you have problem with the product, support is instant. And you become friends with them and maybe later on they'll be giving you discounts.

As a matter of fact, it is HeliKraft. I have ordered stuff for MiniTitan from there and never had a problem. I will give it a bit of time, just will not let my refund "time limit" run out. Thanks for the warning.

Sure, NOW I know it's in stock here.

10S should work fine. Long time ago, I converted a Bergen EB with 800mm blades to run electric. It was 10S and worked fine. Your comment is right on the money, have to get the Kv and gearing matched to the RPM and number of cells.
China....be careful...if it's HeliKraft see if you can get your money back, when something seems too good be true..well.. I know a couple guys in different parts of the world that have been waiting forever....
Rotorquest is around the corner. Go pick it up and speak to Eugene, you won't be disappointed.

Not for stick banging 3d. The intent is to have a light loaded heli for smooth big air flying. It should auto like a 2 meter sailplane!

This is all just dreaming now as I don't have the E700 yet..30 to 60 days they say???
Like Jimmy said above, I think most people would be pleasantly surprised with the E700 out of the box, it's a real winner. Really reminds me of my old Logo600 but bigger and more presence, but flies effortlessly and just so smooooooth.

I know what you mean about 800's though, I love flying my 770 for the huge presence in the sky, but if your looking for more graceful then the Raptor E820 is a pretty lit weight machine as well out of the box.

10s on 800mm blades will be very high stress. Just get the proper wind motor and gearing for 12 or 14s, it doesn't need to be high speed because of the voltage.
Next season I plan on running most of my big machines on 14s but have no plans on raising the headspeeds. Just efficiency.

You lost me on the 30-60 days though... It's in stock....?

Re: New Raptor E700

I believe the 700E flys exactly as you want right out of the box, try it first before buying anything.Check out the video on here super smooth and graceful yes I know it's the pilot but the heli has to be capiable as well. You can gear it down slightly to get more of a floater out of it as well. If it has to be bigger then go for it otherwise i'd just order it up. This is just my opinion, definitely your choice though.
