Yup, just squeezed the nose back to shape, a little hot melt glue and you would never know!

We did the 3 pack with some boys in the next town. All good flyers and totally enjoyable! Build time was low so were able to build and fly two of them in the same day. Kept them interested!

I built the little twin. Left off the wheels, totally not needed as it flies out of your hand. Next time I will leave off the extra fins too. They just get in the way in transport and stress the horizontal stab. It handles a surprising amount of wind for it's size.

I love the flitetest plans they have online, I've built and flown many of them. Sure they're not a beautiful scale jet or beaver but they're great to get people interested in the community because you can basically build a new frame for $2 and some time.

Hey Brent.. If you're curious, you should be able to rotate pictures on your PC using the native Windows Photo Viewer.

Just open the picture, click on the Rotate Clockwise button and close it again. It will be saved in the new orientation.

Screenshot 1 shows the button
And, I attached an example of the rotated photo.

These little foam things are also great for stretching the imagination. I will be building a 60" wing span high wing floater. I have had some success building with balsa, I've owned gassers up to 38% and done my fair share of ARF assembly. I've also got a whole bunch of salvage from the previously mentioned planes.

Yes these foam board puppies are the best tool for relaxed flying. Fun, I'm a farmer. We get our fun gland removed by the first loan officer we encounter. These help restore what the hobby should be about. AND! I can source (believe it or not) the raw material just up the road!!!

Re: Fun Fly Prize

I'm sure so folks that I fly with wonder why I don't "progress" to the big stuff after all these years. Well, I do have several 1/4 scale birds flyable and in progress but the planes like that one you are enjoying Brent are actually more enjoyable for me. The investment in time and money are so small that there is zero stress and 100% fun involved in flying them!

I am in this hobby for an outlet to unwind. If I go to the field all uptight about crashing and how much it will cost in time and money to fix it, if I stand on the flight line with my knees banging together for the whole flight, if I drive home trying to justify the repair costs... I am in the wrong hobby!

This kittle thing is a blast, put the battery back a little further than normal and has hovering and harriers! Camera person switched the camera 90 degrees in the middle of the flight....... maybe next time we'll get the video right!!!!!

I'd fire her but after 25 year of marriage I have her pretty well trained up. Mmmm Hmmm.
