Re: dream plane Gee Bee R3 Hollo every one here is some more info about the Gee Bee R3. 81 inch wing span the fuselage is 72 inch the flying weight is around 16-17 Ibs engines size is 50cc-65cc 6ch radio 8 servos 7 if you use a manual choke. 240.00 USD plus 220.00 USD S/H to your door. I plan on using a DLE55 and going to use hitec 5645 servos and 7.4 batterys in mine.The plane is well built how ever there is no manual with it they sent a disc with it the disc lacks the info one needs to set this plane up so I emailed Nancy to see if there is a manual for the plane. By the way Grant, How is the Howard Ike DGA flying, did you finally finish it. I am the guy that sold it to you at Kitchener a couple of years ago. .(the parts anyway).............Al |
