Re: My Habu 32 Build :)

well, I wasn't planning on taking the tree into my line of flight but I did ! LOL not sure how I did it, and came home with no damages. !

Reason for slow lift off was in dual rate low, with hardly any elevator. I was struggling to fly it, was a PITA in the low rate mode. AFTER i changed it to middle rate, DAMN it was way easier to fly! Never using low rate mode again for take off.

Anyways, I flew it today and landed it perfectly.

Excuse my language at the end i was so nervous shocked !

Well, we got the Habu32 maidened today! Went 100% perfectly. However the flaps don't come down enough, I think i mixed the servo covers up. BUT easy to fix, need to make the servo horn hole bigger so the servos can push the flaps down way more.

Pics

These holes are the ones im talking about.

The wind kept changing direction the wind sock told us one way then as i was in the air it changed then as i was coming around / lost it it changed again. GUSTY up top too, but down low where we were standing was really calm.

Thanks guys, I agree. The take off looked kinda crappy because of the wind, the jet flipping over was me trying to turn it against the wind. I had it i could have brought it home but I panicked. I wont fly alone, last 5 flights I did were perfect other than landing closer. Now i need to buy more batteries so I can practice continually.

I meant for your 32. Why you keep talking about your foamy. Isn't this a 32 thread lol. Everyone's excited when you post a video and then disappointed hahahah.

But ya if it's gusty and changing direction all the time probably not the best time for a maiden.

Not on a light foamy like that, if the wind was going one direction would have been fine, but it kept changing direction every few seconds. And gusty.
