Re: 40% Pilot RC Build Anyone? Well all my RC Canada friends and family, sad to say but I will be selling this awesome plane before I even get to fly it. Life has got in the way of getting to the flying field. The plane is an 11 out of 10. Let me know if you or anyone you know would be interested. |

Re: 40% Pilot RC Build Anyone? Well not too much "building" more personalizing. Spent some time making this huge bird, my huge bird. Added some stars, pin stripping and colour. Looks ok, I think I like it? |

Re: 40% Pilot RC Build Anyone? I opened up the cowl on mine, the opening is very small I find. and I used a prop hub because a spinner will reduce the air flow as well. My setup with a ZDZ 210 came out 48 lb's that's with 13 servos. My other setup I just finished came out 39.2 lb's with a DA 150 using 9 servos. Just got a DA 170 it's 5.7 ounces lighter than my old DA 150 That will be going on in the spring. |

Re: 40% Pilot RC Build Anyone? Yes, I built it so that I could easily move the plane around and have it at a nice height to work at. I attached a pair of my extra gear legs onto a Kregg T-Track so I could adjust for smaller gear sizes. As well the vertical supports will slide along the longer horizontal support for different sixed fuses. |
