Re: Cables???

"Pushrod" seems to be what I interpret he wants.

"Pushrod Wire" if you need short ones that are only a few inches from the servo to the horn.

If we needed longer, we made them using a dowel with pushrod wire attached to either end. (and I still do it today )

Re: Cables???

I believe what you are looking for is "Servo linkage" or "Control surface linkage". Try searching those terms.

No, I guess that I didnt explain very well.
I have 2 units, one that uses a solid wire, and the other one that uses a braided wire cable inside of a plastic sheath, that go from the servo to the control surfaces,(in my case, dive planes in a sub)
Thanks again.

Re: Cables???

The Term is 'Servo Extention Cable'

Re: Cables???

If it is a single solid rod to the control surface then a push rod if there are two cables, one to each sid of the control surface then they are Pull-Pull cables.

Cables???

Ok, Im almost emnbarasswd to even ask this...this is how much of a noob I am
what are the cables that connect between servos and flaps/alerons/rudders called?
Ive tried listings on ebay such as:
servo cable
servo spline
servo connection
servo interconnect

..etc...etc with no luck.
I know Ill be embarassed by the answer,,,but
As well, I seem to have found in different models, 2 different types, metal cabling, with crimped connectors, and plastic that just seems to be bent around connections...whats the difference, and any difference in name????
Thanks in advance
