Because of the high winds lately I have only been able to use up 2 1/2 gallons. I would say it is just as good as the Wildcat fuel that I used to use but can't get anymore.

A gallon in the hand is better than two in the bush as they say.

I got 16 gallons of 15%. Ran it through my Saito 150 in the Tiger Moth and a Thunder Tiger 61 in a Dirty Birdy.

[QUOTE=cloudniner;2392785]You can read RIGHT!

What do you think constitutes as club order hundreds of cases? I would like to know where the difference between $18CDN at Toledo and $30CDN or more at the LHS. Where is the extra going? Shipping? Brokerage? Gouging? Don't know...

$18.00 can is about the wholesale price of a gallon of fuel at the dealer. If your hobby shop is 300 KM from the dealer then you have to have it shipped. Shipping dangerous cargo is expensive. The hobby shop's cut of the retail price is 40%. He is not in the business to be a good Samaritan, but to make a living. The use of glow fuel has gone down over sixty percent and to stock large quantities of it is not practical anymore. If your local hobby shop will not give you a deal on a large order then try somewhere else. If he can put your order with his order then everybody wins.

Re: Nitro fuel

Just asking as I didn't see your previous message.....Never heard of Riches brew fuel , before. What is the quality like ? Every time fuel gets on a truck , today; the high pricing is due to freight charges being tacked on as it is being labeled as a restricted article ; plus loads of paperwork; higher insurance rates and somebody pays for it and that is the end user. Discounts on the Toledo fuel is possibly due to the manufacturer maybe clearing the fuel out and they trailer it in themselves to minimise shipping costs . Also it is an advertising thing if not well known.
