Re: mCPx BL upgrades from RCHeliCanada RCHeliCanada is based out of Winnipeg. I've been chatting with the owner recently as he's coming to SHAG in June and wanted a little more information on the event. Seemed like a nice guy from the emails I recieved. Guess I should read the whole thread before coming into a conversation |

I just ordered the Umondo system from him. If I need help with it RC Heli is but a email away and he always answers his mail. Unlike some other canadian shops. |

We only carry kits from Compass and Gaui (200 to 700 class) - we're a firm believer in supporting the brands that support us and provide not only a quality product, but quality service as well. We feel that by sticking with only a select few brands, we can provide better service and parts avaialability to our customers. The kits are found in the respective brand menus, Gaui Kits are found under the Gaui Products menu, and Compass Kits are found under the Compapss Products menu. If you contact me via email (http://www.rchelicanada.com/contact-us/info_2.html), I can help you select the brand / model that will suit your flying skill / style the best. Cheers! Jeff Barrett |

Likely more of my "lunch money" going to be diverted to my MCPX. I should have one more go at going BL. |

Re: mCPx BL upgrades from RCHeliCanada Jeff is indeed the best guy to deal with, quick response and nice guy, very professional yet friendly. Got myself a gaui x2 super combo before new year, it arrived before the expected date. By the way got myself the oversky 7a esc for my mcpx too for my c05m sitting at home, any soldering needs to be done to the board? Cuz i simply cant solder anything smaller than 10gauge wire lol. |

Re: mCPx BL upgrades from RCHeliCanada One last dry day for flying before the cold/rain/snow come. Cleaned the servos so no more wobble. When the next flying-suitable weather comes in, I'll hopefully be testing out a new setup with hp05s and 10A ESC. Original un-"stabilized" clip
Still trying out youtube's "stabilize" feature. I think it loses too much details and I probably won't use it from now on. Convince me otherwise.
Check out my "blade vs tree" clip as well while you're at it. It's getting off-topic so I won't post here. |
