I love the CL-415 as well. Who made it?

Re: let's see what you got!

LOl! Great thread. The hobby is an addiction isn't it. I've been at it for awhile with on/off breaks along the years. Even when evrything is parked and grounded through those breaks there has always been a core fleet of about 7 planes and a couple helis. I found that as one matures in the hobby, a person gravitates to what they like and the quality vs quantity sets in as the truism of experience. Latest and greatest isn't. Nor is the bigger is better.

If there is anything learned over there years it is, to experiment with as many platforms as you can. Buy/sell often, rotating them through. Then thin the fleet around those thatones that you goto often to take to the field or that you just beam when you look at them. Therein lies the secret to managing space and budget. Even then tho, there will still be at least half a dozen ready to fly, a couple at various stages of the build and another couple in the box on the shelf just waiting for a Round Tuit.

That looks a little lean for 2 years in!

I'm at about 3 years...right now I have 60cc 3DHS Yak 55, 50cc 3DHS Slick 580, 50cc brushless Pilot SBach 340, 35cc brushless Aeroworks Extra 260 Freestyle, 48" EF Edge 540T, Twisted Hobbies Crack Yak and Crack MXS, Eflite UM Radian, plus a couple little helis. Just got rid of a Carbon Z Cub and a partially complete 60cc Badan Vertigo. I'm a little lean so I have a 60cc Extreme Flight Yak 54 and an 84" Legacy Turbo Bushmaster on pre-order.

I had a lot more when I was 2 years in, but now I'm going for quality over quantity...that and I'm figuring out what I really enjoy flying! It's a bit of an addiction, but a hell of a lot better than booze, drugs or gambling I suppose!

Thanks for this topic guys. Reading it I feel normal again. I have a rental storage locker with about 20 planes in it and a garage with 6 more. You know the question my wife asks "how many planes are enough?" and my stock answer
"just one more".

"Corner of the basement". Ya, I remember when the hobby took up a corner of the basement....
