Re: Ongoing problems - Nano qx

I've had this happen a few times. What happens is a hair or something similar gets wrapped around the motor and adds friction when it spins. Or It can be damage in a crash. You only need to replace the slow motor.

My issue now seems to be my flight batteries are no longer up to the job of holding a charge. Mind you I'm using the stock charger...

Adam,

I had a similar problems. (Twice)
First is what others had described, wrong prop.
Second time is the unbalanced prop. Replaced the new one and it flies like nib again

I completely forgot I had this posted.
So I did end up getting everything sorted out, I replaced all motors at once, and all new props, bound to my Taranis, and off it goes, no problems at all. All is good, back to chasing cats and squirrels

Re: Ongoing problems - Nano qx

it rely does sound a rotation issue if you are sure every thing is on the correct way the only other thing i can think of is that it does calibrate to level every time you connect the battery.

make sure it is on a fully level surface and connect the battery wait for it to bind see if that helps

If I was closer I would say bring me all the pieces and I would see if I could get it flying normally. it sounds like my sort of challange

I assume you have checked the motors are seated in their holders properly. My Nano was behaving the same way until I discovered one of the motors had slid out a little, causing the gear that drives the prop to disengage. Happens on a regular basis. Hope you got it figured out.

I'm using stock transmitter. I'll have to check the board out, never thought of that one. And I'll have to try the whiny thing. Actually, I can get my 4 year old to whine about the helicopter being broken.
Hmmmmm. I wonder what else I can get her to get for me.....

Re: Ongoing problems - Nano qx

It sounds a lot like your man board is loose. but if I is not what transmitter are you using and is it in heli or airplane mode?

you may wish to check your transmitter settings if you are using one that is not the stock transmitter

Re: Ongoing problems - Nano qx

Sometimes these cheap micro things just fail. Could be a dodgy motor, a tweak in the frame, another bad board, whatever. I don't get excited about these things, they are literally a disposable item.

It's rare I'll replace anything larger than a prop or perhaps a motor, and that's only if they're in stock at the LHS right at that moment hahaha

If you whine about it from where you bought it you might get some luck but often you're told you likely crashed it and buggered it up, which is true in 95% of cases, certainly mine
