Well i just cannibalized the bird. it has a warbt wing (production mistake) so it it is only a static display

edit: also we are looking at doing a float fly at the north end of wood lake on the 21st of april if your interested. let me know.

did some test runs this week but, well had some problems with the front wheel no damage except my pride
still managed to have some good fligths with the Super Cub.
will put the TO onto floats to do the test runs.

Differential thrust is easy when working with seperate speed controllers or IC engines if you have a computer radio -- you just tie in throttle and rudder when a switch is set (don't want this in the air....)

Throttle up and back each engine appropriately for the rudder input. For IC engines, add additional throttle only. Opposite engine for rudder input I believe.

I originally was only getting a balsa short kit from Scott Douglas, but have decidet that for the Float version i will make the Twin Otter out of Foam. asoon the Foam One is in the Air i will get onto the Balsa Twin Otter with the ling nose..
are the any photos of your finds Twin Otter? what size is the plane going to be?

Man that is pretty cool. Good job! My friend who lives in Creston BC is 82years is also building one from scratch. His is balsa tho. He has the wing built and has mounted the engines on it minus covering. Hats off to all the modelers that build from scratch.
