Re: Lipo charging through balance port

Hello Sam, I too have lipo batteries in my JR 7202 and take it out for charge. One thing you should be aware of, when removing and reinstalling that little white connector, make sure you use something non conductive as a tool, like a tootpick or something like that. This way you are sure not to short the circuits. Just a trick like that.

Re: Lipo charging through balance port

I made a charge connector from a servo connector as it's the same pin distance, 100 thou.. The DX9 takes about 10 hrs to charge through the trans, so I charge with the ECO 6-10, which takes about 2 hrs. This is with the 4000 ma batt.

ah ok, thx.

Ya cuz I've been charging the dx6i, dx8 and now the dx9 from the charge port the whole time.

Good to know its only an issue surrounding a particular Tx

Wondering how many of you guys take the Tx battery out and how many just use the charge port ????
