Done. Hope you like it. 4 minutes. Short and sweet, except for the planes that did not make it back. [ not so sweet ] But you guys are amazing because some of the downed planes were probably flying agian before this video was posted.

This video was taken from the first set of flights. All WW1 planes that looked the part. Considering they are made for combat, it is impressive the effor put into the fuse, wings and paint jobs.

UPLOADED in HD.

How much Snow is on the Cobble Hills field?
(I hear there is 3ft+ ! ! !)

I will never, ever, Second guess the Weatherman/Girl.

The other half of 'Onslaught' Pilots seem to have other 'Priorities'...

Next Time...

I'm building more planes to this...:

Onslaught WW2 Reporting:

My old Typhoon, (the ground attacker!) had never made it past the 2nd Round before...in 5 years!
I 'rebuilt/repaired' it for the 4th time !
NEVER give up. (I was going to scrap it !)
The Typhoon and its 'NapierSabre' OSFX.25 flew great...
(Big spinner,10-4 APC prop.)

It is ready for the next Match. (and is a 'woody' that will blow up real good !)

I admit, I flew defensive and low, looking for and not getting any 'uppercuts'...

I really loved it when any one came down low on the deck and challenged my streamer ! (I go to attack mode when I loose my streamer !)

The 'test' flight on the Typhoon was the first time this year I got to fly...

One of these years, I'll try flying it on high rates...

I'll finish the woody 'Oscar' next...

Have fun,

Onslaught 'Debrief',

WW2:
The 6 Pilots who made it, sure missed those who could not make it...
Next Time ! (I'll try and get a better 'timeslot' next year)
All up, we had plenty of time for repairs/etc...

One cool thing was trying to get the 'BigBang' firework be lit in time for 'StartCombat'...

Usual amount of carnage. I was flying at the time, but there were some 'Spectaculars!', hopefully caught on video.

Ryan'Flyboy' showed up after the first Round with no less than Alex'Midair' as his pit crew ! (Alex brought his 3yr old son for his first experience of a Combat Match !)

Brian'Mach1', Jeff'Iceman' and Jeff'Rockey' flew the most aggressively and 'Iceman' won with more cuts...

Johnny'MiGyver' flew his JohnnyG Spitfire into the 5thRound and somehow 'impaled' Iceman's Zero to bits !
Johnny was able to limp back to the field with a rough running engine...
There was only one blade left on his prop ! ! !

Risking time out,
More later...

Hi Eric'tech1',

The 3-D 'zoom' out from the pits at Cobble Hills is awesome ! ! !

Take your time editing/posting...

I'm pretty sure you Noticed...to get the 2nd WW2 Round going...

Most of the Pilots were more interested in your very cool 'High Tech Rig'...

Thanks for sharing your Skills with us...
