No problem, Rick, I appreciate the effort.

Coming out to the field today?

I hope to make it out this afternoon...

Wayne

I checked out my Graupner 6ch and it is an MX-12 not a MZ-12.

Sorry about that but mine does have a center button.

Glad you got it fixed.

Re: Graupner MZ 12 Help

Gents,

THANKS VERY MUCH.

The problem is solved. It was a stick calibration issue. I was correct in my assumption that the top half of the throttle stick was dead. This was verified in the stick calibration screen.

I reset the calibration and it is working perfectly. BTW, to access the stick calibration (per a post on RCG):

"To perform the Tx internal calibration of the sticks, you need to access the "Hidden Menu" ("Versteckter Modus" in German) where the only line item seems to be "Stick Calibration". You do this by simultaneously pressing Left + Right + Down buttons on the left keypad."

After this you set the upper, middle, and lower point on each stick and it calibrates itself.

Problem solved. That was -not- easy, but thanks for your help.

Re: Graupner MZ 12 Help

You held the buttons down for three or four seconds? That's normally what is required.

Re: Graupner MZ 12 Help

No, no other ideas. Did not really see it for that Tx in particular but that is how you get into Hidden Mode on other models and figured it might be similar. Maybe try Graupner USA (The Rep) on the Open Hobby threads on RCG

Re: Graupner MZ 12 Help

Still unable calibration mode, I think I have tried everything on all the left and right switches. Definitely tried up/down (Left) and up (Right)

Any other ideas?

Re: Graupner MZ 12 Help

Right, sorry, you do not have center buttons on keypads of MZ-12

Try the Up/Down of left pad and "UP" key of right pad.

Re: Graupner MZ 12 Help

OK fellas,

Thanks for helping look into this.

OK, I've been all over page 12 and 13 all day but I will give it another look, maybe in the morning when I am not so close to what I have already looked at.

I have selected the "no" option for the "motor at C1" thing. And all the other options as well. Probably tomorrow I will try every combination again after re- re- reading the manual, which is not written in proper English.

There is no center button on the MZ-12, so I can't comply with David's "press two buttons on one side and center on the other" request.

Rick, I appreciate if you could look at your MZ-12 and see what you have. Right now I'm really thinking I have a defective pot and its not a programming issue.

I'm thinking the reason I can't get the throttle stick to work is because the throttle stick doesn't work. But I was wrong once before ( I think) so I appreciate the sober second thought that you guys are providing regarding the programming.

Re: Graupner MZ 12 Help

Two things: Try programming a model and select "NO" for "Motor at C1"

Try pressing and holding Up and Down buttons of the left keypad then press center button of the right keypad to get into "Hidden Mode" for stick calibration.
