here is a guide to read up on.

I use the JST on very small 3S lipo. XT60 on like 90% of my lipos. and the Banana plugs (HXT) on high current/volt lipos

oh there are also XT90 (90A rated) connectors for big lipo, not mentioned in the article.

There is no special lipo connector. You can use whatever type of connector you wish provided that it can handle the current of the application. The only other connector is the balance connector used during charging... sorry, don't remember the specific name of that one.

Lipo connector confusion

I've learned that I don't know the difference between a Lipo connector and my butt. Could someone point me to a reference page/internet source/whatever that has pictures and descriptions of the different connectors in use today for RC aircraft. I'm really lost. I'm from the era when Ni-cads were the latest with Ni-mh on the horizon. TIA
