Re: New ZDZ180 - Champion I just got my ZDZ180 champion and I'm building a H9 Sukhoi for IMAC. Looking forward to the test results from Trevor... Hopefully it will be as stout as the original. I've got RE3 pipes for it... Planning to run a Mejzlik 30-13-3. Should be a wicked setup... Can't wait! |

Re: New ZDZ180 - Champion I got a call from Gerhard at Aircraft International today... He informed me that KS just shipped out the pair of ZDZ180 flanges with 5-day drop shipping to my door. Cost worked out to be $25USD/flange + $15 shipping. Very reasonable pricing Just wanted to pass that on to all... Some think Gerhard will only sell 3W flanges but he has many other mfg / motors in stock and what he doesn't he will have KS do anything and drop ship. I have ordered multiple ZDZ flanges and BME flanges through Gerhard / KS with awesome service. |

Re: New ZDZ180 - Champion Hi Paul... yes it is - still a rotary valve. So far what I've found out is an echo of Ken's comments... it's the same motor only stouter case, beefier crank and a different port shape. Dale... shiney motors mean 0 to me. Like you said they are under the cowl anyways  All about function for me and the 180Rv-J is a sweet, sweet motor. If I had the choice, it'd take an Rv-J over this J-Champion and save the 5oz. Unfortunately they only make the shiney one now
