Re: Nitro Bullet MT You would be better off to spend the extra 100.00 or so and pick up the savage. A new set of wheels and tires will cost almost that, and the savage is a much better truck. The bullet series hasn't been that great, judging by the internet chatter there have been a lot of issues with them |

Nitro Bullet MT Hi All, I used to play with Nitro RC's way back (about 10-15 yrs ago) but have not touched one in a while... I think I might pickup a Bullet Nitro MT next week. I don't think I need anything as big as a Savage / Revo (not withstanding its $100 cheaper too!!) Before I buy, I'm trying to figure if I can put bigger tires on it for a bit more ground clearance... from the towerhobbies site I would have 14mm hubs as stock with an 82mm tall rim with a stock 124mm tall tire ... links here : http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCJCY&P=7 http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCJCX&P=M so it looks like I SHOULD be able to a stock Savage tire right ? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXMJH7&P=ML its a 14mm bolt size ... is that all I have to consider ?
