Re: Fleet Canuck

Hey Glenn. Would it be possible to copy the plans when you are done, or ask where you got them? This would make a great winter project as I love the Canuck. Cheers, John

Re: Fleet Canuck

Well, I've been at it again. I have a goodpart of the fuselage completed and have the tail feathers ready to cover. The wing parts are all ready to start in the morning. Everything is going well to this point.

Cheers Glenn

Tyler, If you read this I answered your message last night but I don't think it went through. We built 6 or 8 of the Fuselage jigs 20 years ago for members of the club at the time. I have been using mine ever since. A great way to make sure things stay straight and square. ) My only problem is the models are getting too big for it.

Re: Fleet Canuck

I used to have a fuselage jig similar to that one, my wife talked me into throwing it out due to a perceived lack of room for it. Not sure why I agreed.

Fleet Canuck

Well guys it's been too hot to go flying so down to the basement work room is next best for me.

I said I was going to build the third in a series model of the Fleet Canuck. This one will have a 60" wing span and again be electric powered. I worked on the fuselage for the last two days and pictured is the result. I will post the progress here from time to time.

Most of the parts fit fairly well and the fuselage looks like a "Canuck". ) The tail feathers are next them come the wings. The nose section is the hardes to shape, hope to have that done tomorrow.

Cheers Glenn
