Re: Onslaught over Ontario MMXI Hi Nate, I like the Hitec HS225MG (mini) for ail/el, and the HS65MG (micro) for throttle. Been bulletproof for me so far... I have tried using cheap micros on throttle, but they kept failing... I think MiGyver and Bruce are using HS82MG (38oz./in.) for ail/el. I have some, but have not tried them yet... Hope this helps, Take care, Have fun, Dave'crosscheck'Fallowfield Maac 6437 Unabashed Combat Team |

Re: Onslaught over Ontario MMXI Hi Buzz, We missed you and Gary'Bent'... Johnny'MiGyver' is TopHawk... and is 'strutting around like a peacock', with his 'Podeum' 3rd place... He was one cut away from 1st... He screwed a 10-6 prop on top of his helmet and it was spinning up good RPMs in the wind... Jeff'Iceman's Me-110 was flying great. When he got the La.15s going and tweaked, the rest of us launched behind him. When everone was up, a Big Banger was lit to signal 'Start Combat. Worked out well. With 8 planes up, I thought there would be more Midairs but there were only a couple. The 30kph gusty wind from behind us made it hard to line up depth wise. Cuts were hard to get, so every one counted allot... More later, Take care, Have fun, Dave'crosscheck'Fallowfield Maac 6437 Unabashed Combat Team |

Re: Onslaught over Ontario MMXI Hey Naterpin, POWs. Now, That is Funny ! (Over the years, we have lost several downed planes/parts flying over the rough ravines we fly over in the Toronto area !) That is why we love flying Cobble Hills ! I got some pictures, my 12yr old niece might have some time on the weekend to help me post them here... Many Thanks are due: -The Cobble Hills Club, and its Members. -Al 'BossHog' for launching us, and somehow between Rounds, BBQing up his Delicious Pork. So Good, my saliva runs just thinking about it ! -Ted'Dogfight' Banks for donating a jug of fuel. He is the reason most of us got into Combat and would still be flying with us if his eyesight was better. I was a bit bummed missing the last two Rounds...but watching with Ted, and seeing that big grin on his face was Priceless ! -Trafalgar Ales and Meads. I had allot of Fun. More stories later...
