You can find it at your local hardware store - 3M brand I think. Good stuff. J |

Re: Flite Test Mustang Put a few more packs through mine today. Actually broke the firewall off the power pod from a little nose over while taxiing. Lesson learnt...use decent tape with your hot glue to hold the firewall on. I just used regular clear boxing tape, but the tape used in the assembly video actually has some thread in it like duct tape. Something to think about if you are building one! |

Re: Flite Test Mustang Thanks guys. I'm not sure what wattage I'm putting through it as I'm not sure of the KV of the motor (it's a horizon hobby with no info). I have a 40 amp esc and a 3S 2200 25C. |

Re: Flite Test Mustang I know you didn't ask, but for what it's worth here's what I'm running with a 3s 2200mah lipo and 9x6 prop: NTM 1200kv motor (286 watts) Turnigy Plush 25A ESC HXT 9gram Servo Aside from that there is an accessory pack for the motor with a mount and prop adapter, a few servo extensions, bullet connectors for the ESC, etc. I also happen to be using an Orange Rx in this one. I have 2 of them, one in this and one in my Flyzone Beaver. As of now I haven't had a single issue with them, however they still find themselves in my least cherished planes. Actual wattage I can't comment on, but it's pretty hefty with a 2200mah battery in it and it will accelerate straight up at full throttle. |

Re: Flite Test Mustang I also just built the mustang a few days ago. It's a great flyer with no bad tendencies. I printed mine out and cut by hand and made it 110% instead of 100. Did a crappy job on the deck with the poster board but otherwise it looks ok. I use a 10x4.7 and forgot to make the landing gear a little bigger and the prop likes to mow grass lol. I also filled in the under side of the wings as the grass was rearing the paper off. |
