So glad to hear you and your family had a memorable day. If I wasn't at an event that day I would have made the trip, I truely miss Gaston. From your posts on facebook you stike me to be a lot like your dad, I see why you'd be his sweetie.

Thank you for coming out everyone in memory of my father. My kids wear their shirts with pride! Thanks to those who did speak to me and my family. Big thanks to Keith for the video and the guy who flew my dad's plane, sorry I forgot your name! If you have any photos or stories to share I would love to receive them!
Sincerely,
Gaston's only daughter, his sweetie,
Carolyn

Re: Gaston memorial fun fly

It was definitely a bit nerve wracking to say the least but mostly because Anne Marie came out to see it fly on the third flight. That one was actually a really good flight with a perfect landing (I think Gas helped out a bit).

That is one sweet plane to fly and I have already set it up with Rick's help and gone through the difficult bits of the intermediate sequence with it (negative snaps and point rolls). I just need a few good practice sessions before the NOIC.

By the way, Kent is flying better than ever and looks very confident. We just need to get him a 3 blade prop as that engine (the Binford 150) has gobs of power.

If anyone knows how to imbed the video I created please do so. I have tried several times and just can never get that feature to work.

Nice video Keith. What a great tribute to Gaston. I wish I had found a way to be in two places at once. I'm sorry I missed it.

That was Steve flying and he is getting very comfortable with his new plane. We just need him to come out to practice more often.
