Re: Flying Tigers Scale Aerobatics Encounter 2010

Hey guys as Rick said I have been out of town in the Great White North with no internet access so could not post till now.

Gary and Neil renewed at the contest so I sent in their renewal with the Regional Points renumeration. Unfortunately I got sent out of town for a week for work on Monday July 12th and could not send in the fees till last Monday July 19th.

I am sure Phill will recieve the payment shortly and the scores will go on the IMAC website.

I know some guys are anxiously awaiting this as they are in contention for Clover Creek and the cutoff date is Aug 1st but I am sure both IMAC and the Clover Creek people will honour the points as the contest did occur prior to Aug 1, 2010.

As it has been stated above it is great to have new members sign up but I think it would be more beneficial to everyone involved if you did it online on the IMAC website PRIOR to a contest to avoid these kind of delays.

Wayne - Thanks for explaining delay before I could.

Sorry for any hardship this may be causing anyone.

I agree that it is always good to have new members. The on-line system makes it easy guys. Rather than hold up the posting of results we really should encourage folks to join on-line and save the CD the hassle of sending in the money on their behalf.

Jim is out of town.

I spoke with him earlier in the week and he said the funds had been sent so it's just a case of things falling in place.

Re: Flying Tigers Scale Aerobatics Encounter 2010

Jack,

When you asked the question yesterday about the Regional Points race I checked to see if you were an IMAC member. You werent.
I just saw your post about it taking 5 minutes to join online so I went back and checked and there you are.

Your number has not been assigned but will be very soon.
At least we can see you in the system as current.

For Gary and Neil..
Not showing up in the system yet.....

This also demonstrates how much better it is for pilots to become IMAC members prior to a contest, not at one. Doing it online could not be easier.

Barring that there is still the old faithful cheque sent in the mail.
Yes it was easy to do Rick. It took 5 minutes.

I cannot send them to the IMAC site yet and this is why.
There were two guys who joined IMAC at the contest. Their IMAC dues were paid during registration and are being sent in with the normal $3.00 pilot fee's.
If I send the results in before these guys have IMAC numbers they will not get their Regional Points they deserve for competing that weekend.

When the money has been sent in and recorded, Phil Vance will assign these guys their IMAC numbers.
When I see that has happened, the results will go in to the IMAC site for posting that moment.
