Re: convert Tricycle landing gear to taildragger I would think JPEG or JPG would be your safest bets. Not sure about max size but most forums 800 px on the long will get you there. Should tell you everything you need to know when you use the upload wizard. |

Re: convert Tricycle landing gear to taildragger If you're flying off grass, you probably won't need to worry about having a steerable tail wheel. Well, unless you've commadeered the golf course's grass greens

Re: convert Tricycle landing gear to taildragger Here are some shots of my LT-40 Note the rod going up to the rubber for steering Aluminum gear is bolted just under the leading edge and reinforced on the inside. Simple conversion ................. |

Re: convert Tricycle landing gear to taildragger I would! I used mostly DuBro products on mine, though the tail gear was a different make that I can't remember. I used some flexible pushrod and put it out of the fuselage underneath, crossing from port to starboard... I think I need to make some triangle pieces to epoxy in for strength at the gear spots... CA glue I figured should be enough at the pushrod exit though |

Re: convert Tricycle landing gear to taildragger I have a brand new NexStar 60. Hmmmm maybe I should convert it before I fly it. I've already discovered that it's easy to wreck a prop without flying! RRRRRR! |
