Re: Which RC to get for a beginner as said, traxxas is a great beginner company. I would look at a traxxas rustler used as you can get them very cheap. They are 2wd stadium stucks and in my opinion, one of the best starting trucks. |

Re: Which RC to get for a beginner I'll 3rd the 2wd Slash as far as function and fun. Seems to me that only 1 question need be addressed. If its for bashin then the track is not really an issue,.. is it? Most "Bashin" just takes place anywhere and everywhere and if that the case for you you may want to stay with the largest tire possible. A Slash has a hard time just out on the lawn alone and that heats things up alot for the motors. |

Re: Which RC to get for a beginner You can probably find a used 2WD slash for around $150, either on here or locally on kijijii or local rc clubs. The SC10 and Strike are also good choices but there are way more slashes out there. |

Re: Which RC to get for a beginner 2wd slash is pretty low cost, tough as nails and fun. e-revo or e-maxx make good bashers. |

Re: Which RC to get for a beginner You probably won't find it any cheaper than buying it local as these are pretty heavy and the shipping would even out the cost. You might think about buying used. A 2WD would work as well but I find that they lose their fun factor with brushless as it's just too much power for a 2WD to handle unless you're talking about racing on a groomed track. |
