Jan,

The kit is NIB, but since I haven't opened the box yet, I will do so to confirm contents.

Re: Buying Multiplex sailplanes ??

Yes I do the long haul from North Bay. My bud got me an EasyGlider Pro at AJ's today. There are others still insterested in our club. It doesn't take much tug to haul up a 2M. You may be interested in the velcro method of release. It s good for smallish planes where its not practical to have a release servo. Searching may show a diagram of the set-up. Basically the tow line has velcro on a length of plastic, say 3/4x 3". And a piece on the nose of the glider, and just pull elevator for release. We towed an Alula up with my twinstar doing this. We ran and launched, it was a good laugh. Got it to the limits of visibility.

Excellent thanks, do you drive to all these from North Bay? What size of a tug would you need for 2 M glider? I have heard some people used E-Flite Apprentice to do the job, I have to search how a hook and release mechanism works.

@ Dan- Aero-tow events are in Fergus, Springvale near Caledonia, and Arnprior. They are listed in The MAAC mag, I will update at event time.

@Dave-Still waiting to hear from Co-pilot. I can run it by the fellows who are in the group. Can we be assured the kit is complete?

Jan,
I have an EG Pro NIB, still in the brown paper wrapper from when it was shipped (from a guy in Quebec) to my place a couple of years ago. $130 shipped to your location in north bay. Let me know.

Re: Buying Multiplex sailplanes ??

Ronald we are still planning to do some sloping this year, I will let you know if you want to come out with us. Till snow buries us, we are flying. Just finished cutting a steel bar ballast to fit into my carbon joiner tube for my EGP for those pesky winds. I need something bigger for next year! Collingwood looks good too. Jan, where you guys have the aero tow?
