Re: Burlington Club in news

Looks like a nice field Billl...may stop by there one day

Actually I looked at that pic again with the large plane that was over Niagara Falls with the R/C plane, and it was the Canadian Forces C-130 that was flying over the Falls on Sunday...the Lanc was over the Falls on Saturday.

If you look on that same page after the photo montage runs, you will see the montage from the Hamilton museum where the Canadian Heritage gang inherited a Cessna Bird-dog for restoration. The photo gallery is called the "Birddog Puzzle".

Thanks for the link Ronnieo

As a subscriber to the Hamilton Spec, I was the picture in the paper, but did not realize that there were a whole bunch more pictures that are 'hidden' in the background.

As announcer for the event, I had a good time as well, didn't get to fly, but was totally worn out by the end of the weekend.

Our sponsors supplied some wonderful prizes for the fliers, wish I had won any one of them myself.

Re: Burlington Club in news

It was funny cuz I was in Niagara Falls that weekend and the Hamilton Lanc was flying over it, and I see one pic in the Burlington event with the Lanc in the sky in the background.
A guy almost ran into me on the QEW looking out his window at the Lanc as we left the falls.
