Re: Looking for someone to set up helis

not sure where you're located in Cape Breton but there is a pretty active club in the sydney area. Their website here:

http://www.piczo.com/capebretonrcmod...=10810520&cr=6

looks like they don't update it often, but there are contact names there.

I know several of their members fly helis.

and there is a big fun fly yearly at the Margaree airport on father's day weekend in june.

Here's a link to the event info and the thread. I expect anybody with a shred of heli interest in Nova Scotia will be there whether watching or participating. Can't wait!

Re: Looking for someone to set up helis

I have Ergo 30's and 50, if i can be of any help, let me know. I'm in the Enfield area of NS, pm me . Steve Mosher locally had a Z230 but don't know if he still flies it.
The JR Z230 and Hirobo are both older helis, may not be the best to learn as there will be crashes, and parts will be harder to find.

Well if you don't mind driving to Ottawa I'll give you a hand

Seriously though.. Worst comes to worse, if you can't find any help locally I'd be happy to walk you through the setup over the phone.

Have a look at www.maac.ca for clubs in your area. I'm sure there's heli guys to be found even if you can't find 'em on here.

Either way, good luck!

Looking for someone to set up helis

Somewhat new to helicopters. Have flown smaller electrics (450 size) and have recently bought a gasser (ergo z230) and a nitro (hirobo tsurugi). Thought I had the gasser set up right and attempted to fly it and ended up crashing it and doing a fair bit of damage. Have the parts to rebuild but this time around I would like to get the heli's set up right and ready to go so I can focus more on learning to fly rather than worrying about setup. Haven't been having much luck with the hobby and would like to finally just get flying. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am in the Cape Breton area but willing to drive to Halifax, Sydney etc. to meet.

Thanks,
Trevor
